Associate Cloud Specialist

Location: Hyderabad, India Work Model: Hybrid – 3 Days per Week in Office


About the Role

The Associate Cloud Specialist is responsible for supporting cloud-hosted solutions by responding to customer inquiries, resolving basic cloud issues, and maintaining high availability of customer environments. Working closely with team members and under direct oversight, this role provides an excellent foundation for building cloud infrastructure and support expertise while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.

  • Respond to basic inbound phone calls, tickets, and emails from internal and external resources requesting assistance with cloud-hosted solutions, with direct oversight from team members.
  • Interact with customers, partners, and internal resources to understand needs as they relate to ticket requests, providing timely and professional communication throughout.
  • Respond to alerts from internal monitoring tools and take corrective action to resolve issues in a timely manner, following best practices with direct oversight.
  • Assist in supporting cloud infrastructure, networking, and hosting tools to ensure high availability of customer solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic cloud issues utilizing the company's systems, utilities, and support processes; learn and apply best practices for problem resolution.
  • Contribute to internal documentation that fully reflects all activity related to the resolution of issues and maintenance of hosted systems, with oversight and guidance from team members.

Role Essentials

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Candidates between 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact.
  • Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to summarize large quantities of information into actionable insights.
  • Collaboration and interpersonal skills applied successfully within a team; able to maintain solid rapport with team members and professionalism with those outside the department.
  • Knowledge of systems administration principles, Microsoft Windows, networking, and virtualization technologies, including Microsoft Server environments, Active Directory, storage, and virtualization.

  • Experience assisting with testing processes related to cloud business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact; comfortable performing scheduled environment refresh requests while learning best practices of the process.
