Overview

Job Description

  • The Data Analyst 5 is responsible for understanding business/department needs and goals and creating data-driven analysis and insight to support management decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a subject matter expert on business issues and trends; creates and communicates vision and strategy across the team
  • Collect analyze and oversee the development of predictive data modeling
  • Report on findings and make enterprise-wide recommendations; summarize analyses into clear concise and effective presentations; deliver content across the executive level
  • Oversee the completion of data integrity audits for the team; monitor procedures for managing data and implement process improvements
  • Facilitate the development of standards for internal documentation; analyze best practices and implement process improvements for the team
  • Act as a thought leader and drive innovative ideas for establishing industry statistics and market trends to lead the team's overall success
  • Oversee training and guidance for the team on how to interpret and apply data
  • Develop and track metrics and/or dashboards; establish strategy for utilization across the team
  • Provide leadership and vision and oversee team for all cross-functional projects
  • Develops and leads the team's knowledge base; recognizes opportunities for professional growth and enhances success
  • Operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide general consulting services leveraging expertise and significant best practice knowledge
  • Operate as an innovative thought leader; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing and coaching on current best practices and market trends
  • Mentor coach train and provide feedback to other team members; provide feedback to leadership on abilities of team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience as a Data Analyst
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office applications
  • Significant experience providing guidance and support to developing team members
  • Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent collaborative skills applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
  • Demonstrated ability to focus on key issues research gather and integrate information from a variety of sources and develop sound recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and use engaging informative and compelling presentation methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate complex topics both verbally and in writing to diverse audiences; comfortable and successful in presenting across the executive team
  • Ability to provide guidance and support to developing team members
  • Excellent business and technology acumen
  • Up to 5% travel time required
