About the Role

As a Cloud Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data within Hyland's Migration Intelligence and Automation platform. You will focus on monitoring data quality, investigating issues, performing root cause analysis, and driving resolution across systems and teams. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about data integrity, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is committed to continuous improvement of data quality processes.


Your Role Responsibilities – Here's What You'll Do

  • Monitor datasets for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness; validate outputs across discovery systems, data pipelines, and reporting layers to ensure data integrity across the Migration Intelligence and Automation platform
  • Analyze and triage data-related issues reported by stakeholders; perform detailed investigations to identify discrepancies, compare sources, and detect anomalies
  • Trace data issues across the full lifecycle — from source system through discovery, pipeline, and reporting — to identify and document root causes and contributing factors
  • Collaborate with Technical Specialists, Architects, and external teams to track and validate the resolution of data issues across systems
  • Execute data correction and cleanup processes; validate enforcement of data standards and business rules; identify recurring issues and propose improvements
  • Maintain troubleshooting guides and runbooks; document known issues and resolution patterns; contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality processes

Role Essentials – What You'll Need

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience, with strong SQL skills for data analysis and investigation; ability to compare datasets and identify inconsistencies
  • 3+ yrs of Experience
  • Understanding of data pipelines and data flows; familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
  • Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact; good collaboration and interpersonal skills applied successfully within teams and across departments
  • Good critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills; good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills; strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with oversight; demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and business partners; ability to work independently and in a team environment

What We'd Like to See – Preferred Skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Server environments including Microsoft Active Directory, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies
  • Basic experience with process improvement and resolving complex data quality issues
  • Ability to use original thinking to translate goals into the implementation of new ideas and design solutions
  • Good ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others; effective at gaining consensus across data, engineering, and architecture teams
  • Good ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact; demonstrated commitment to the continuous improvement of data quality processes
