📍 Location: Hyderabad 🏢 Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office


About the Role

We're looking for a curious and analytically driven Data Scientist to join our team and help turn complex data into meaningful insights that support business decisions. In this role, you'll work closely with business and department stakeholders to understand their goals, develop data-driven solutions, and communicate findings in clear, actionable ways.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.

  • Perform analyses to gather information on business issues and trends; conduct basic to moderate risk analyses with oversight from team members; and collect, analyze, manipulate, and aggregate data from multiple sources to support informed decision-making.
  • Develop basic models and apply foundational statistical and mathematical concepts — including supervised learning — to derive meaningful insights that directly support management decisions.
  • Report on findings by summarizing analyses into clear, concise, and effective reports or presentations, adhering to data visualization best practices and maintaining accurate metrics and dashboards.
  • Compose internal documentation detailing processes and findings, and regularly provide input on how to improve internal efficiencies while staying current with best practices and market trends.
  • Create functions in R/Python to support data analysis workflows, and leverage advanced knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and data integrity auditing to ensure the quality and reliability of data outputs.
  • Provide training and guidance on how to interpret and apply data to stakeholders across the organization, and assist with special projects as assigned.

Role Essentials

  • Bachelor's degree with demonstrated success performing analyses and strong project management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel data mining skills and proficiency in DS tools (R/Python), with the ability to create custom functions to support data analysis workflows.
  • Understanding of relational, NoSQL, big data, and graph databases, paired with advanced knowledge of statistics and modeling approaches.
  • Advanced understanding of chart selection and data visualization best practices, with the ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong oral and written communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with excellent collaborative abilities applied within teams and across the organization.

  • Organized and experienced at multi-tasking, with a demonstrated ability to focus on key issues and integrate information from a variety of sources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide training and guidance on data interpretation and application to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative, with the ability to contribute meaningfully to special projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
