About the Role

The Developer is responsible for the overall performance of the product by applying principles of software engineering to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of software. You'll ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software within release timelines and guidelines while contributing to a collaborative, standards-driven engineering team.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.

• Develop code based on functional specifications and a thorough understanding of product code, identifying refactoring opportunities and architectural improvements along the way
• Test code to verify it meets technical specifications and is working as intended before submitting to code review, including creating and applying automated tests and unit tests
• Complete logic and algorithm design in alignment with established standards and perform moderately complex peer code reviews
• Contribute to standards, processes, and software development methodology including planning, work estimation, solution demos, and reviews
• Contribute to the implementation of a delivery pipeline encompassing test automation, security, and performance, while making data-driven recommendations for internal process improvements and product documentation
• Provide troubleshooting support for moderately complex production issues and software code issues to ensure the stability and reliability of the application

Role Essentials

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, software design, and continuous software delivery
• Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with build environments, delivery pipelines, test automation, and continuous integration tools
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment

• Knowledge of software application testing tools, methodologies, and process frameworks
• Ability to provide technical and constructive feedback to team members in a clear and professional manner
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage projects to completion with appropriate oversight
• A genuine curiosity and drive to stay current with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and market trends
