Sales Development Representative - APAC

About the Role

The Sales Development Representative - APAC is an inside sales professional focused on outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification across the Asia-Pacific region. This role is centered on connecting with as many leads as possible to determine customer fit, drive pipeline growth, and support the broader sales organization in expanding market presence across APAC.

Here's What You'll Do

  • Initiate discovery calls with qualified lead prospects, gathering information, assessing needs, educating on suitable product offerings, and determining the viability of a sale across the APAC market.
  • Maintain purposeful, regular contact with identified prospects through emails, phone calls, and other relevant activities to add value and drive opportunities forward.
  • Generate new qualified leads by developing targeted customer lists and executing calling and email campaigns across the APAC region.
  • Partner with Account Managers and Field Representatives to facilitate seamless lead-to-opportunity transitions and support onsite customer meetings.
  • Participate in trade shows and events across APAC, making meaningful contact with potential customers and ensuring timely lead follow-up.
  • Leverage a multi-tactical technology stack while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute targeted regional campaigns.

Role Essentials

  1. Proven inside sales experience with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport, qualify leads, and drive opportunities forward across the APAC market.
  2. Strong communication skills — able to speak and write with ease, clarity, and impact, tailoring style to the subject and audience.
  3. Self-motivated with high energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  4. Strong business acumen with the ability to ask probing questions and investigate situations to obtain quality information.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools with a curiosity and aptitude for technology.

What We'd Like to See

  1. Experience working across APAC markets with an understanding of regional business culture and customer dynamics.
  2. Familiarity with CRM platforms and multi-channel sales engagement tools.
  3. Relevant industry experience in SaaS, content services, or enterprise software.
  4. Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with field sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
  5. Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
