📍 Location: Hyderabad 🏢 Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office


About the Role

We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Manager, Cyber Security to lead our Security Operations Center and drive the security monitoring and response program for our cloud and corporate infrastructures. In this role, you'll manage a talented team, define and govern security policies and procedures, and serve as the internal and external authority on all things security monitoring and response. Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.

  • Oversee the design, operation, and management of the Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring threats are identified, validated, and remediated to protect corporate and customer data.
  • Manage operational use case development and execution for leveraging security technologies and artificial intelligence solutions enabling advanced threat discovery and elimination.
  • Develop and implement metrics and reporting ensuring accountability, transparency, and compliant operations for the SOC.
  • Oversee the operation and implementation of security controls, risk reporting, vulnerability assessments, and incident handling, ensuring alignment with compliance policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Interface with company leadership and security auditors as the authority on security monitoring and incident response of corporate and cloud infrastructure.
  • Manage team HR activities including performance reviews, compensation plans, staffing, interviewing, and hiring, while actively supporting team development and training.
  • Develop, manage, and report on team budgets while providing executive-level status updates on security, compliance, risks, threats, and incidents.

Role Essentials

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of prior management experience.
  • Significant experience with Cybersecurity — including threat detection, incident response, SIEM, and DLP.
  • Significant experience leading or working within a Security Operations Center.
  • Significant experience with IT Compliance and Governance frameworks.
  • Significant experience with Networking and Server Infrastructure.
  • Strong leadership, business acumen, and communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a long-term, strategic perspective on security and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience preparing executive summary reports on the state of security, compliance, risks, and incidents.
  • Proven ability to respond to alleged violations and evaluate investigative procedures with sound judgment.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the role.
