About the Role

As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will serve as a senior technical resource for Identity and Access Management (IAM) services across Hyland's cloud and enterprise environments. This role is focused on designing, implementing, operating, and improving IAM capabilities that support secure access, identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, privileged access, and access governance. You will work closely with Cybersecurity, Cloud, Infrastructure, Application, Compliance, and Operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and auditable identity solutions — making this role ideal for an experienced IAM engineer with strong technical depth and hands-on experience in cloud and hybrid environments.

Your Role Responsibilities – Here's What You'll Do

  • Serve as a senior technical advisor for IAM, authentication, authorization, privileged access, and access governance across cloud and hybrid environments
  • Design, implement, and support IAM platforms and services, including Active Directory, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, LDAP, SSO, MFA, and federation
  • Engineer and improve identity lifecycle processes, including joiner, mover, leaver, contractor, privileged account, and access request workflows
  • Design and maintain RBAC models, access groups, entitlement structures, application access mappings, and least privilege access patterns
  • Partner with application, cloud, infrastructure, security, and compliance teams to onboard systems into centralized IAM services and meet access control requirements
  • Troubleshoot complex IAM issues involving SSO, MFA, federation, directories, group membership, access policies, and application integrations; support privileged access controls, access reviews, and audit evidence collection

Role Essentials – What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with significant hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management engineering, security engineering, or related technical roles
  • Strong experience with IAM platforms and services, including Active Directory, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, LDAP, SSO, MFA, and federation
  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, RBAC, least privilege, privileged access, access reviews, authentication, and authorization
  • Experience supporting IAM services across cloud and hybrid environments, including troubleshooting complex directory, SSO, MFA, federation, group membership, and application access issues
  • Experience with scripting or automation, such as PowerShell, Python, APIs, workflows, or CI/CD pipelines

What We'd Like to See – Preferred Skills

  • Experience with privileged access management platforms, privileged account governance, or privileged access workflows
  • Experience with identity governance, access certifications, entitlement reviews, and audit-driven access controls
  • Experience with cloud IAM concepts across AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and improving IAM standards, policies, procedures, runbooks, and technical documentation
  • IAM, security, or cloud-related certifications such as Okta, Microsoft Identity, Security+, CISSP, GIAC, or cloud security certifications
