About the Role
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer oversees the design, engineering, implementation, deployment, documentation, testing, and continuous capacity planning of infrastructure solutions to support our global workforce. This role focuses on automation-first approaches, AI-driven operations, disaster recovery readiness, and reducing technical debt to provide scalable, resilient, and secure compute services that support enterprise strategy. In this role, you will also act as a mentor, offering direct training and technical guidance to junior engineers. Your Role Responsibilities — Here's What You'll Do
- Design, build, and implement robust infrastructure solutions in alignment with business needs, security best practices, and organizational standards; ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of the company's supported systems and data.
- Identify, prioritize, and implement automation for resource deployment, compute and storage allocation, and optimize the delivery of key infrastructure services with an automation-first mindset.
- Design and implement solutions for backup and disaster recovery; participate in the testing and execution of disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues and outages; perform problem-solving, root-cause, and post-mortem analyses, using AI and automation to drive process improvements and efficiency.
- Document the design, operation, procedures, and troubleshooting of implemented solutions and technology platforms; compose training materials and conduct training sessions with stakeholders.
- Perform regular reviews of processes, provide guidance and oversight for audits of server infrastructure and operating environments, and provide mentorship and support to junior team members; advocate for the implementation of I&O best practices throughout the organization.
Role Essentials — What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of relevant experience in information technology, with experience as a Systems Engineer/Architect and a fundamental understanding of networking principles.
- Experience working with Hypervisor and Virtualization Platforms, with experience working with Windows and Linux server operating systems.
- Task automation and high-level scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Ansible, with a strong automation-first mindset and experience using AI-driven approaches to reduce toil and technical debt.
- Proven experience (5+ years) designing, implementing, and securing enterprise-level cloud environments in Azure and AWS, with experience in backup and disaster recovery strategy and planning.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills, with the ability to perform root-cause and post-mortem analyses and thrive in collaborative, hybrid environments.

- Demonstrated experience designing, building, and implementing robust infrastructure solutions at enterprise scale, with a track record of strengthening security posture through high-impact enhancements.
- Proven experience identifying and implementing automation for resource deployment, compute and storage allocation, and service delivery optimization, with a demonstrated automation-first approach.
- Experience designing and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions, with participation in disaster recovery plan testing and execution to ensure business continuity.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex escalated infrastructure issues and outages, with the ability to perform root-cause and post-mortem analyses and drive process improvements using AI and automation.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and conduct training sessions, with experience composing technical documentation, training materials, and conducting comprehensive system reviews.
