About the Role

The Test Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining Playwright-based test automation for Angular applications, strengthening quality gates, and improving CI/CD workflows to support confident, reliable releases. This role partners closely with engineers to verify frontend behaviour across real-world and edge-case scenarios, combining automated and manual testing approaches to ensure product quality. The Test Engineer will join a fully remote, diverse team shaping the user experience of an LLM-powered web application that transforms unstructured documents into structured data.


Your Role Responsibilities — Here's What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain Playwright-based test automation for Angular applications
  • Design and extend frontend integration, functional, and non-functional tests across real-world and edge-case scenarios
  • Strengthen quality gates in CI/CD pipelines to support confident and reliable releases
  • Combine automated and manual testing approaches where they bring the most value to the product
  • Review test automation code and collaborate closely with engineers to ensure consistent frontend reliability
  • Contribute to test strategies, test plans, and test documentation as a quality partner across the team

Role Essentials — Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience as a Test/QA Engineer with a strong frontend focus
  • Practical experience with Playwright and testing Angular applications
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates
  • Understanding of the full test lifecycle and test design techniques
  • Familiarity with version control systems and modern development workflows
  • Comfortable working in an English-speaking, distributed team environment (B2+)
  • 3–5 years of relevant test engineering experience with a focus on frontend quality

Pay Transparency

Poland: 12,000 – 18,650 PLN gross per month Italy: €34,100 – €40,000 per year
