  • Provide timely design decisions and guidance to unblock development teams, addressing any obstacles or challenges they encounter; continuously monitor and assess compliance with guidance, providing necessary support and feedback to ensure adherence.
  • Guide, coach, and train team members; provide technical input to leadership and comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices.

Role Essentials — What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Technology, with 8+ years of experience and proven expertise in one or more modern technology stacks, preferably C/C++/.NET/C#/Java, including real-world system design and implementation of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on development experience designing and building RESTful and WebSocket-based APIs with a strong focus on performance, security, and accessibility, and hands-on front-end development experience building complex, production-quality user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.
  • Advanced working experience with data structures, algorithms, software design patterns, architecture patterns, and quality attributes, with advanced software modeling skills covering information domain, process, state, security, logical, and physical architectural views.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and reviewing technical proposals and architecture documentation including RFCs and ADRs, with exposure to cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and experience designing, deploying, or supporting cloud-based services and architectures.
  • Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with a variety of cross-functional roles, good collaboration and negotiation skills, good leadership and business acumen, and up to 15% travel time required.

  • Broad and deep experience across all facets of professional software engineering in multiple technical and commercial environments, with experience across two or more technology stacks.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate through multiple media to persuade and influence others, with good ability to develop and use engaging, informative, and compelling presentation methodologies.
