Overview

The Developer 2 is responsible for the overall performance of the product through applying principles of software engineering to the design development maintenance testing and evaluation of the software. The Developer ensures timely delivery of high quality software within the release timelines and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable services that ingest, analyze, and transform documents into formats suitable for machine learning and large‑scale AI workflows.
  • Implement code based on detailed functional specifications and a deep understanding of document processing pipelines and data‑transformation patterns.
  • Identify refactoring opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability of the document‑preparation pipeline.
  • Participate in architectural design discussions for content preprocessing, enrichment, metadata extraction, and validation workflows.
  • Write and maintain automated tests—including unit, integration, and pipeline validation tests—to ensure transformations behave consistently across diverse document types.
  • Validate that code meets technical specifications and functional requirements prior to review and deployment.
  • Contribute to quality standards for document ingestion accuracy, content normalization, and AI‑readiness validation.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing, security scans, and performance gating for high‑volume content‑processing services.
  • Support observability and monitoring for content‑processing components to ensure SLA compliance and early issue detection.
  • Contribute to team planning, effort estimation, technical documentation, and solution demos.
  • Perform moderate‑complexity peer code reviews with a focus on correctness, performance, and data quality.
  • Analyze business requirements to understand implications for document‑processing logic, data models, and AI‑integration workflows.
  • Recommend internal process improvements based on real‑world usage patterns and data insights.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for moderately complex production issues involving document ingestion, parsing, transformation, and pipeline behavior.
  • Help ensure overall system stability and predictable performance at scale.
