Overview

Hyland is seeking a driven and commercially focused Account Manager to manage and grow our portfolio of active accounts across Cono Sur (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay). Although this role manages existing customers, we are specifically seeking someone with strong hunter skills, a professional who is proactive, persistent, and comfortable identifying new opportunities within and beyond the current account base.

 

NOTE: This is a hybrid role based in São Paulo, Brazil (Vila Olímpia), and requires full professional fluency in Spanish, along with strong business communication skills in Portuguese and English.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of active customers across Cono Sur, ensuring strong relationships and consistent account health.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities within existing accounts (upsell, cross‑sell, expansion).
  • Develop tailored account plans to drive customer engagement and long‑term growth.
  • Maintain strong understanding of customer needs, business models, and market dynamics.
  • Proactively generate new opportunities within assigned territories, including whitespace and underdeveloped accounts.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline by prospecting, qualifying, and advancing opportunities.
  • Conduct outreach and develop relationships with new stakeholders across Cono Sur.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to execute targeted business development strategies.
  • Lead key conversations with Spanish‑speaking customers, including onboarding, quarterly business reviews, and renewal cycles.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and early identification of risks.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, connecting customer business goals with company solutions.
  • Work closely with Sales, Presales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams across LATAM.
  • Provide customer insights to internal stakeholders to improve product adoption and strategic decisions.
     

Basic Qualifications

  • Based in Brazil, with availability for hybrid in‑office work (São Paulo - Vila Olimpia).
  • Experience in SaaS, technology, software, or digital services strongly preferred. 
  • Professional fluency in Spanish (required).
  • Advanced Portuguese and English (preferred).
  • 3–6+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, Business Development, or Customer Success.
  • Strong hunter mindset—comfortable with prospecting, pipeline creation, and revenue generation.
  • Experience managing accounts in Cono Sur or broader LATAM markets is a plus.
  • Ability to build relationships with decision‑makers across multiple industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Someone who manages accounts but thinks like a hunter.
