Senior Technical Trainer

Location: Hyderabad, India | Hybrid (3 days per week in office)

About This Role

Hyland is seeking a Senior Technical Trainer to join our Technical Training team in Hyderabad. This is a high-impact role focused on designing and delivering advanced technical training across multiple technology stacks and modern development ecosystems. You'll partner with engineering, architecture, DevOps, security, and product leaders to build impactful enablement programs that support cloud-native architectures, AI-enabled workflows, and secure coding practices. Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.

  • Design and deliver advanced technical training across multiple technology stacks and modern development ecosystems, supporting cloud-native architectures, AI-enabled workflows, and secure coding practices.
  • Create enablement programs that support responsible AI usage, AI-assisted development, and emerging automation practices, integrating threat modeling and secure design principles into learning pathways.
  • Build internal networks with engineering, architecture, DevOps, security, and product leaders to identify capability gaps and co-create impactful enablement solutions.
  • Design and deliver diverse learning experiences — including presentations, lab-based workshops, and scenario-driven learning — aligned to real engineering workflows and continuously refined based on feedback and performance data.
  • Monitor emerging trends in AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and modern software engineering to recommend innovative approaches and scalable, role-based enablement strategies.
  • Mentor and actively collaborate with team members to design, refine, and deliver high-impact technical enablement programs while fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Role Essentials

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field with 10+ years of experience in technical training or engineering enablement.
  • Significant experience delivering advanced technical training to engineering audiences in both classroom and virtual environments across multiple technology stacks.
  • Strong understanding of modern development practices, cloud-based architectures, secure software development principles, and foundational cybersecurity concepts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AI concepts, AI-assisted development practices, or applied machine learning in engineering environments, including responsible and secure AI usage.
  • Proven experience collaborating with engineering leaders, architects, security professionals, and subject matter experts to co-create impactful enablement solutions.

  • Proven ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in fast-paced, evolving environments with high ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to proactively identify capability gaps, propose solutions, and drive initiatives forward with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience mentoring peers, fostering collaboration within the training team, and leading cross-functional initiatives that support technology transformation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% as required and to extend working hours into evening hours when needed.
