The Senior DevOps Engineer brings cloud automation knowledge and experience to maintain Cloud Customer Infrastructure availability and uptime, ensuring customers experience the performance and throughput of the Cloud Services we manage. This role is central to driving operational excellence across global Cloud environments.
Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Cloud production, pre-production, and other environment infrastructure, ensuring systems availability, performance, capacity, and continuity through proper response to incidents, events, and problems.
- Participate in on-call rotation, monitor Slack channels and monitoring system alerts and dashboards, and take necessary action to resolve requests in a timely manner within defined SLAs.
- Analyze observability data and perform proactive actions to improve the stability and performance of cloud environments.
- Perform Cloud environment stack creations, upgrades, Cloud deployments, and support tasks, strictly following Change Management, Security Compliance, and Incident Management procedures.
- Follow and contribute to existing Cloud Operations procedures including playbooks, runbooks, and guides, while performing periodic checks such as testing monitors, backups, and business continuity (BR/DR) procedures.
- Communicate and collaborate with global Cloud Operations, Product Development, and Engineering teams to effectively perform assigned tasks and projects, and participate in internal initiatives to improve Cloud Operations services.

Role Essentials
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 6 years' experiencein Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with configuration management tools, DevOps and release management tools, and managing service container-based platforms.
- Experience in Linux and Windows administration, scripting tools, and configuration and administration of enterprise web applications.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment SaaS environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with cross-functional teams; fast learner, highly organized, and experienced in prioritizing effectively.
What We'd Like to See (Preferred Skills)
- 8+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a primary focus on Operations, including proven experience in Production Operations within medium to large-scale environments.
- Experience with Public Cloud (preferably AWS) and DevOps and release management tools including Terraform, Git, Ansible, Packer, and Jenkins.
- Experience building and managing Kubernetes cluster environments, fine-tuning and supporting microservices hosted on Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience with monitoring systems (preferably Datadog), databases at a system admin level, and scripting tools including Linux Shell Scripting and Python.
- Knowledge and experience managing Java or similar web application environments, with adeptness to collaborate with employees, customers, and partners from diverse backgrounds.
