Overview

We’re looking for a Sales Solution Engineer 3 who thrives at the intersection of technology and business strategy. In this role, you’ll be the technical lead and trusted advisor for complex customer engagements, helping organizations unlock value through innovative solutions. You’ll partner with sales teams, executives, and global delivery units to design strategies that transform businesses and accelerate growth.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical lead for complex customer engagements, applying extensive knowledge of solutions and/or vertical
  • Lead customer pre-sales meetings, identify technical requirements, and formulate solution strategy
  • Create a demonstration of the solution strategy, applying solutions knowledge, experience and best practice knowledge
  • Present demonstration of proposed solution to key customer stakeholders for validation and buy-in
  • Coordinate meeting with global services to transition key information; remain actively involved in process to ensure seamless transfer of customer
  • Compose internal documentation that fully reflects all activity related to the solution strategy
  • Provide technical responses for request for proposals (RFPs)
  • Take proactive measures to identify and improve internal efficiencies and grow knowledge of the team; remain current on best practices and market trends
  • Present at trade shows, conferences and events
  • Work with development in support of solution enhancements
  • Provide guidance to other team members

Basic Qualifications

  • Significant experience in technical sales and relevant industry or technology
  • Experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and software implementation methodologies
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and deliver engaging presentations. 
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills - proven ability to gain trust and consensus
  • Self-directed, organized and able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Speak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
  • Driven to learn and stay current with industry best practices
  • Up to 60% travel time required
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as Management Information Systems or Computer Science
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
