Job Description
The Business Continuity Incident Response (BCIR) Compliance Analyst 2 will assist in performing business impact analysis,
business continuity planning, disaster recovery, incident response and exercises
Assist in performing business continuity, disaster recovery and incident response plan development throughout the company
Assist in auditing to assess the company's posture against the legal, regulatory, compliance and industry standards
Assist in performing business continuity training for various leadership teams
Assist with software procurement/development for business continuity incident response platforms
Assist with disaster recovery exercises within the cloud environment as well as with customers
Collaborate with team members and cross-departmental stakeholders in creation and coordination of mutual goals
Assist in performing business impact analysis and risk assessments on essential business functions or information systems to
identify recovery strategies and to meet business continuity goals
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar preferred
Minimum 2 years job experience with business continuity principles
Microsoft Windows and Office proficient
Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
Good collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
Good Microsoft Excel skills
Good facilitation and project management skill
Good data gathering, interviewing, and analytical/problem solving skills
Good oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others
with discretion and tact
Ability to use original thinking to translate goals into the implementation new ideas and design solutions
Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with oversight
Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Good attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Good knowledge of systems administration
Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and products
Up to 10% travel time required
