Overview

We’re seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused Account Based Marketing (ABM) Manager to strengthen and scale our ABM initiatives. In this role, you’ll protect and elevate our brand while driving measurable revenue growth through standardized ABM processes across marketing, sales, and supporting functions. 

As the lead of our ABM Center of Excellence, you will define and operationalize core ABM strategies through four strategic pillars—Data & Tools, Programs, Enablement, and KPIs—ensuring consistency, quality, and repeatability across all ABM efforts. 

 

What you will be doing

Data & Tools / Technology 

  • Standardize tools and processes across teams to ensure clean data, consistent tracking, and platform integration (e.g., Salesforce, ABM platforms). 
  • Define the account selection strategy and provide a governance model for account inclusion. 
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity across ABM programs using internal and external intelligence sources. 
  • Collaborate with operations to improve access to account insights that enable personalized, timely engagement. 

 

ABM Programs

  • Create and maintain scalable playbooks, campaign frameworks, and channel strategies. 
  • Develop and drive personalized ABM programs across one-to-one, one-to-few, and one-to-many models. 
  • Collaborate with content and creative teams to personalize messaging by vertical, persona, and funnel stage. 

 

Enablement

  • Design and deliver ABM training programs for sales, SDRs, field marketers, and cross-functional stakeholders. 
  • Lead account planning workshops and develop practical tools (e.g., journey guides, account blueprints). 
  • Enable field marketing and seller teams to execute personalized campaigns using best-practice guidance. 
  • Foster tight alignment with sales to ensure smooth campaign execution and follow-up. 

 

KPIs & Performance

  • Define and track ABM-specific KPIs including: 
  • Number of accounts in the program 
  • Account engagement and reach 
  • Marketing Qualified Accounts (MQAs) 
  • Pipeline contribution and influenced revenue 
  • Collaborate with marketing operations to forecast, report, and optimize ABM performance. 
  • Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement based on data-driven insights. 

 

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Manage execution of ABM campaigns and tactics on behalf of sales, and train reps to self-execute where appropriate. 
  • Partner with external vendors, platforms, and data providers to support ABM execution at scale. 
  • Operate as a strategic advisor and thought leader, sharing insights on ABM trends and opportunities. 
  • Support budgeting, resource allocation, and team mentorship as needed to drive ABM maturity. 
  • Cross-functional project leadership to define ABM processes  
  • Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy

 

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in B2B marketing, with at least 2–3 years of hands-on ABM experience.
  • Deep understanding of account segmentation, persona targeting, and customer lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience with ABM technologies (e.g., Demandbase, 6sense), CRM (Salesforce), and MAP (Marketo, HubSpot).
  • Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for using data to inform strategy and optimize performance.
  • Up to 20% travel time required

Based on individual states’ employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements:  base salary range of $100,000-$125,000 and eligible for benefits
