Overview

The Sales Support Representative is responsible for assisting and supporting the day-to-day activities of sales account managers while developing critical sales skills with the objective of effectively transitioning to an outside sales job in the company's sales organization.

What you will be doing

  • Support and collaborate with the sales team by working as a liaison between sellers and operational teams to drive business/sales forward in support of our customer base.
  • Update and ensure accuracy of CRM, including but not limited to logging activity, tasks, converting leads, updating opportunities, creating quotes.
  • Executing outbound communications to initiate the creation of appointments and active participant attendance for various events, including any follow up activities and next steps.
  • Interact with internal teams to complete tasks in a timely manner. Collaborate and engage cross-functional internal teams to meet individual client requirements
  • Provide information and details for operational processes related to the sales cycle.
  • Provide direct support and coaching to customers/partners; operate as their liaison to company's resources Act as a trusted liaison to customer/partners by providing direct support and coaching while maintaining and building relationships to deliver a positive customer experience
  • Create, build, process and evaluate various reporting to provide insight to Sales Teams.
  • Research prospects/customer organizations during the lead registration process and prior to Sales calls. Utilizes a strategic approach to research, identify, evaluate, and recommend business solutions considering customer needs and interests

  • Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others
  • General experience and comfort using technology
  • Aptitude to learn new technologies and systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office
  • Experience with CRM systems- Salesforce preferred
  • Up to 10% travel time required
