The Sales Solution Engineer 3 is responsible for providing technical and/or industry expertise to the sales team and customers in the pre-sales process.
This is a remote position in Mexico.
What you will be doing
Act as the technical lead for complex customer engagements, applying extensive knowledge of solutions and/or vertical
Lead customer pre-sales meetings, identify technical requirements, and formulate solution strategy
Create a demonstration of the solution strategy, applying solutions knowledge, experience and best practice knowledge
Present demonstration of proposed solution to key customer stakeholders for validation and buy-in
Coordinate meeting with global services to transition key information; remain actively involved in process to ensure seamless transfer of customer
Compose internal documentation that fully reflects all activity related to the solution strategy
Provide technical responses for request for proposals (RFPs)
Take proactive measures to identify and improve internal efficiencies and grow knowledge of the team; remain current on best practices and market trends
Present at trade shows, conferences and events
Work with development in support of solution enhancements
Provide guidance to other team members
What will make you successful
Fluent in English and Spanish
Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as Management Information Systems or Computer Science
Significant experience in technical sales and relevant industry or technology
Experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
Experience with general software implementation methodologies
Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Self-directed with the ability to manage projects to completion
Strong collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
Demonstrated ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologies
Speak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others; effective at gaining consensus
Driven to learn and stay current professionally
Up to 60% travel time required
